Those crazy Lunn kids

My kids are crazy. It is in their blood. They do and say crazy things. Sit, grab a beer and read about all the reasons why I drink!

Watch what you say!

Those crazy Lunn kids

I went to Sobeys today (buy one get one free day!) and as I was going through the check out, Zac was at the end playing with a little girl. I finished and went right across to the Aliant thingy to ask about new phones, as we are due to get our new free ones. I told Zac and Jake to come with. Jake came, Zac was still playing with the little girl. Whatever, I was standing right there, he was being good and playing. I watch him stand up and go over and talk to the next cashier. Next thing I know I hear "Jenny Lunn please come to cash number 7 please, Jenny Lunn to cash 7 Thank you" I go running over and ask what was wrong. She tells me that Zac had lost me. WTF?? I was standing right there. Literally 5 feet away from him, not even that maybe. Anyway, she goes on to tell me that Zac came to her, told her that he lost his mommy and that "I LEFT HIM THERE AND WENT HOME BECAUSE HE IS BAD" I nearly fell over. Zac jumped into my arms screaming that he'll be a good boy from now on.

Funny thing is that Zac was as good as gold today. He listened to me, played well with the little girl that I apparently left him with. Don't get me wrong I have on occasion joked around and told him I was leaving when he wouldn't come with me, but not today. How come he remembers that and not to flush the toliet after he poops?

This all happened at the front of the store, everyone at the cashiers watched me leave, literally stopped and watched me leave with my abandoned child. Whispering, staring as Zac was crying "please don't leave me again mommy"

I swear, I thought Hilary gave me all my gray hair, I thing Zac is going to make it all fall out.

BTW, I am so proud of him that he went to the cashier and told her I was lost, and he didn't run out of the front door.

Awww, he's so sweet and so smart. But I know what you mean by watching what you say. Boy you should hear some of the things that come out of my kids mouths. Might even make you blush. ROFL!
