I GOT A JOB!
Those crazy Lunn kids Woohoo! I start at St Elizabeth Seton Preschool on Tuesday.I am a preschool teacher! I have 2 classes. A tuesday /thursday class that has about 8 kids for now and my Wednesday/ Friday class has 12 kids rightnow. There is so much to do to get done, it is amazing. I have to have crafts for the month to cut out and prepare, circle lesson plans and excercise plans. And I start on Tuesday. CRAZY!
I love the ladies I'll be working with, we are all so much alike. Steve just found out that he is back on the ERT also, it is the fire department at Pratt. That is great news also.
I cannot wait for the year to start and meet all these little farts in my classes!
The kids start their new schools on Wednesday. Mike gets on the bus at 740 and Hilary and Jake at 805. They are going to be gone until 230. How scary is that? I am so used to running around and dropping them off at 830, pickup at 1130, drop off at 1230, pickup at 2 and 230. I just get them on and off the bus here......weird!
They are excited. Mike starts at AJ (jr. high) THAT is scary. HE is not nervous at all, I am though. So much going on at this age, too much to keep up with. My plan? Keep him busy with sprts and fun with us and he'll have no time to get into the bad stuff. Am I just kidding myself? I have to tell myself no, Mike is a smart kid he'll know when to say no, right?
Jacob is excited. He said he is excited for the first day of school, and he hasn't been for years. He cannot wait to meet new friends and start with a new teacher. I am so sure that he'll do fine. I was worried about him, but after watching him at hockey school and meeting new kids there, my nerves are gone! As for school work, Jake is sooo smart, he'll do fine there too!
Hilary is well..........in Hilary land. She tells me it is pink there. I still don't think she really gets that she is starting a new school. She loves her new sneakers and school bag. LOVES that she has a lunch bag and is staying for lunch there, but I don't think she gets that it will all be at a new school. I hope she does fine. She is such a Diva and I don't think that will go over well with some teachers and kids. She really thinks her name is Princess and gets mad if people tell her different.
Zac goes to preschool Monday wednesday and friday mornings. So he'll be with me on wed and fri. On tuesdays and Thrusdays he'll be at mom's for the mornings that Steve is working too. If steve is home, Zac and Will will be home with him.
